Book cover created for a History of Graphic design course at The Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago.
This project required me to only use hand-cut paper for graphic elements on the page, and required use of the Eurostile typeface.
Cut and scan a rough humanoid shape and used a thick, pencil stroke style to the object to emulate the visual of a police chalk outline. While my typeface choice was made for me as part of the project parameters, I used variation in scale and rotation to achieve a more hand-made, almost ransom letter-like aesthetic for the typographic elements on the page.
